The CME in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine from the University Of Queensland School Of Medicine is the only university-based award of its kind available in the world. The courses include pre-disposing activities, a 2 day practical workshop, all reference materials in a binder, 200 image on-line dermoscopy training and assessment. The CME courses are university quality assured and deliver a university school of medicine award with credit into a full degree (Master of Medicine – Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine)*.

Since 2006 over 2,000 medical practitioners from Australia, Canada, China, Europe, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, UAE, UK and USA have attended the Skin Cancer Certificate / CME course delivering a comprehensive approach to skin cancer in a primary care environment.

The CME course is designed to meet the needs of medical practitioners who are interested in primary care skin cancer medicine: primary care physicians, mainstream general practitioners, overseas graduates, nurse practitioners, dermatology registrars and rural doctors.

This course features a 2 day weekend practical workshop which have been developed and are led by international and local specialists, industry professionals. There is an on-line training / assessment requirement to be completed at the practitioner's convenience within six months of the conclusion of the workshop part of the course.

Successful candidates will receive the UQ School of Medicine Award and CME points from their relevant medical association*.
