David Swanson MD
Assistant Professor of Dermatology, Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale, AZ
Dr. David L. Swanson is an Assistant Professor and Director of Medical Dermatology at Mayo Clinic Arizona. He diagnoses and treats the entire spectrum of cutaneous disease, but has special interest in the diagnosis of cutaneous neoplasms, especially melanoma and basal cell cancer. He directs and teaches several courses on dermoscopy. In practice, he uses dermoscopy, total body photography and serial imaging to manage melanoma and atypical mole patients. His main research interests are in confocal microscopy and automated melanoma diagnosis. He has authored more than 30 publications in peer reviewed scientific journals. He is a regular contributor and former editor of Practical Reviews in Dermatology. |

Dr. Steven Q. Wang is the Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Dermatology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center at Basking Ridge, NJ. He specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin cancers, especially melanoma. To manage high-risk skin cancer patients, He uses whole-body photography, dermoscopy, and computerized digital imaging systems. In addition, he is actively involved in clinical research, with a focus on photoprotection and non-invasive imaging technologies to diagnose skin cancer. He has authored more than 40 publications in peer reviewed scientific journals and academic textbooks. |

His background in skin cancer business management and workflow efficiency is a
culmination of his experience as CEO and Co-Founder of one of Australia's largest chain
of primary care skin cancer clinics. His business expertise has helped hundreds of general practices across Australia
implement effective skin cancer services for doctors and patients. He
has been building and developing skin cancer education and training for the past 10 years and
has a Master of Business Administration (MBA). |
